Religious Travel - Long Term Travel Coverage

This emergency medical travel plan is ideally suited for religious who are:

• Involved in overseas missionary work or assigned outside of Canada for periods of a minimum of 3 months up to 5 years. A medical questionnaire is required for members age 65 and older (simple Statement of Good Health required for members age 64 and under). Coverage is provided up to and including age 84.
• Visitors to Canada as well as those returning missionaries who are subject to a waiting period in their home province before they become eligible for provincial health care coverage.
• Third country nationals (non-Canadians) on assignment under the auspices of a Canadian congregation. For example, a religious from Peru on assignment to another country under the direction of the Canadian congregation.
